Job description:

• scientific services in research and teaching in the field of ‘social intelligence’ at the Department of Psychology and the Berlin School of Mind and Brain, in particular collaboration in social-cognitive research, as well as supervision of students, publications, applications for third-party funding and organizational tasks such as conferences and committee work
• tasks for own scientific qualification (habilitation)

Requirements:

• completed scientific university degree and PhD in cognitive psychology/cognitive neurosciences or al related discipline
• experience in experimental cognitive neuroscience research (especially EEG)
• very good knowledge of statistics and programming skills (e. g. Python, Matlab)
• relevant publication experience in international journals
• basic German language skills (at least A2)
• very good written and spoken English skills (at least B2)
• high ability for independence work and self-organization, high social competence
• experience with virtual reality and (e. g. in Unity) and with motion capture desirable
