Job description:

• scientific research within the DFG project “Universal description of stochastic oscillators”
• simulation and analysis of single and coupled stochastic oscillators, based on methods from statistical physics and the theory of stochastic processes
• development of methods for identifying eigenfunctions of high-dimensional oscillators

Requirements:

• completed university education in physics with specialization in theoretical physics
• programming skills in C,C++, and Python
• competence in analytical calculations and approximation methods
• teamwork skills
• excellent knowledge of English and German
